VOLUNTEERS

____ The women and children at House of Ruth need long-term, consistent relationships.  Therefore, House of Ruth does not offer any short-term volunteer opportunities and cannot serve as a site to fulfill a community service obligation.

____ The only volunteers we need are mentors for the children.  The mentors develop healthy, positive relationships with vulnerable children, ages 6 to teens.  Mentors must commit to spending two to three hours per weekend with a child for a minimum of one year.   To be eligible, you must be 22 or older, submit an application and undergo a criminal background check.

____If you are interested in becoming a mentor, please send an e-mail to cstevens@houseofruth.org.  Please include your name and telephone contact information.  Thank you for your interest in becoming a mentor.
