In May, House of Ruth completed its third ever Do More 24 campaign, the largest 24-hour online fundraiser in the DMV area, powered by United Way of the National Capital Area in partnership with Giving Tuesday Now.
Thanks to the incredible efforts of our Board of Directors and the generosity of our community of supporters, House of Ruth successfully raised $23,429.51 (so close to our $25,000 goal!) over the course of the 24-hour campaign!
All funds raised through Do More 24 will provide essential supportive services and trauma-informed care for more than 1,000 women and children survivors of homelessness and domestic violence we serve each year. Thank you so much to everyone who participated in Do More 24 this year and for helping us continue our life-changing work for the families that we serve!
