Current Positions
Assistant Teacher/Educational Therapeutic Assistant

Plans and teaches an age-appropriate curriculum for young children, providing a nurturing and therapeutic environment promoting growth and helping parents to understand their child’s development.

Case Manager

Case Manager develops a therapeutic relationship with women in a residential transitional housing program. Assesses strengths and needs, creates goals as well as developing, implementing and monitoring the case management plan. Provides supportive counseling and facilitates groups.

Life Skills Trainers (Full-Time)

Life Skills Trainers teach, train and monitor a range of daily living and coping skills to all House of Ruth program participants (women and/or children) in 24 hour residential programs. Trainers complete all necessary tasks to ensure the well-being of the women and/or children receiving services and maintain effective operations of the program. Available to work evening and weekend shifts required. Most programs are based in Southeast, Washington, DC. This is a direct service position.
