Frances Christmon

Frances Christmon is a health care industry expert and business executive/consultant with over 30 years of service to more than 70 hospitals, physician groups, health plans and other healthcare entities. She is founder and Principal of Frances D. Christmon LLC, a business consulting firm that facilitates ethical financial performance and strategic operational evolution for health care organizations. Frances served as Vice President of Strategic Financial and Operational Information for the HSC Health Care in Washington DC between 2007 and 2016. There she supported extensive research into the healthcare needs and solutions for children with special needs.

Frances is a consistent supporter of several charities including The Boys and Girls Club, Food for Friends, Jack and Jill Foundation, and The House of Ruth. She served on the Board of Directors of Positive Options, Referrals & Alternatives, Inc. (PORA); a non-profit agency in Springfield, Illinois that helps transition women out of prostitution and to develop healthy, positive lifestyles.

Frances is a past president of the DC chapter of Health Care Financial Management Association (HFMA). She received a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Economics from Tougaloo College, in Jackson, Mississippi and a Master of Business Administration in Healthcare from Howard University.
