Impact Day is Deloitte’s annual day of service, and this year marks the 25th anniversary of their unwavering commitment to making a difference in local communities. To celebrate this milestone, Deloitte collaborated with House of Ruth to host a Women’s Career Kickstarter for our program participants, focusing on empowering transitioning women with the tools to build a foundation and jump-start their careers.
This was Deloitte’s second year hosting House of Ruth, deepening our partnership and impact together.
Encouragement. Empowerment. These embody the atmosphere of a day offering a variety of services—from resume writing to interview prep, and from professional headshots to career coaching. Deloitte volunteers provided personalized attention and tailored advice helped each woman to recognize her potential and take confident steps towards achieving her professional goals.
A new addition to the day—our long standing partner Suited for Change, a fellow social impact organization providing business professional attire to women in need. Each participant received stylish and appropriate business outfits, ensuring they are dressed for success as they embark on their career journeys.
At the close of our morning together, the smiles of the House of Ruth program participants said more than words. They were beaming. All the women shared with staff how happy they were that they attended.
