Housing Programs at House of Ruth

House of Ruth offers housing to women and children who are unhoused or experiencing domestic violence. We offer short-term and long-term housing accompanied by support from trained staff dedicated to survivors’ safety and helping them meet their goals.

What Is the Application Process?

  • After completing a family referral or application, please allow at least 24 hours for referrals and applications to be reviewed.
  • Family programs have 72 hours upon receiving referrals to schedule an interview.
  • The timeline for scheduled interviews are based on the program’s vacancies
  • A scheduled interview does not guarantee acceptance into the program.
  • Applicants without a DC ID will be provided resources to obtain an ID.

Where Are You Located?

Housing locations are kept private for the safety of our program participants and their families.

Please note 5 Thomas Circle is not able to take intake requests. You must reach out by phone, email or through our website.
