Ahead of Valentine’s Day, our community showed up in a big way for the women we serve.
The Reis Group, Target Columbia Heights, Deloitte, and Rise by Bozzuto came together to turn generosity into action. The Reis Group donated beauty masks, manicure sets, and festive gift bags. Target Columbia Heights contributed cosmetics. And volunteers from Deloitte and Bozzuto transformed our conference room into a Valentine’s assembly line.
Working side by side, they sorted and packed donated self-care items into more than 100 Valentine’s bags for women in our single-site housing programs—programs that support single women as they rebuild after trauma, abuse, and houselessness.

Each bag was thoughtfully put together with items like mascara, lip oils, hand and foot masks, crochet kits, LEGO Botanicals, and SheaMoisture haircare—small touches that go a long way.
For the women in our care, these moments matter. As they focus on healing and rebuilding their lives, gestures like this bring a sense of joy, normalcy, and care.
We’re especially grateful to these partners for showing up year after year to share love with the women in our single-site programs. That consistency matters, and it doesn’t go unnoticed.
Thank you to The Reis Group, Target Columbia Heights, Deloitte, and Rise by Bozzuto for continuing to show up with heart.
